 K-9 UnitWe feel it necessary to note Viaspire's very special K-9 Unit as part of our team. These pups are "special" in more ways than one, but both came to us from our client connections. ParkerParker, our resident "love bug" is always up for a good belly rub or cranial massage. He never leaves our side and often prefers to be wrapped up in his favorite blanket while we are working. Now, Parker is no fashionable Chihuahua all of the celebs have. Parker is a very pampered 80 pound Doberman/Shar-Pei mix. Yes, he's a wrinkly guard dog! It's quite a combo. Nonetheless, Parker came to us after one of our clients spotted me as the "destined" owner for this special pup. Abandoned in one of our local parks on a freezing cold January morning, Parker's "Fairy Godmother," scooped Parker up and brought him home. Getting the special treatment and a new pal named Diego, Parker knew he was in good hands. Adopting Parker after an instant connection and tons of kisses, Parker immediately took to hanging out in the office with us, groaning and sighing really loudly whenever a phone call pursued, and making sure to bark so loud at the door that the FedEx guy usually throws the packages at the door and runs! Next is Kona...Kona was originally "Freeway" since I rescued her on the side of a freeway offramp as I was headed in to a client meeting. Emaciated beyond belief, I didn't realize I lifted a five month old Rottweiler Chow mix into the back of my car without hesitation (or proper introduction). Once Kona got acclimated to the Viaspire lifestyle, Kona quickly became part of our client meetings -- often being asked to provide details of her voracious appetite, crazy behavior, and loving interests in her new man, "Parker Pups!" Our clients understood when I showed up with a half eaten heal on my favorite shoes that this was just part of the package. We even received goodie bags full of hand-me-down toys just to keep up with this pup's insatiable need to "chew and destroy!" Now, this is the extent of our K-9 unit and our COO would like to keep it that way. We have a special love for these furry friends, and love most of all how supportive and connected our clients have come to know and love them as part of the Viaspire team. So, the next time you call and you hear heavy breathing or a big bark—just know that's the K-9 Unit. They inspire us, make us laugh, and always give us good fodder for a moment of brevity throughout the day. Woof! Woof! Parker has been an email account holder since 2001.
